Soap and Glory review!!!!

Soap and glory is actually one of my favorite brands at the moment and has been for a good couple of months. I have owned a gift pack of soap and glory products and i have re-purchased the ones that i liked and tried out other ones.You can purchase soap and glory products from a lot of places but the place that i grab mine because of the wide range of products there is Boots.By the way all of the prices I mention are from Boots so if you go to other stores it could be different. Also it is in pounds not dollars or any other form of money so the price would change depending on what country your in :)

The first product i will talk about is 'the righteous butter'. this product is a body butter containing shea butter and aloe vera. When i first got this product the thing that made me instantly like it was the smell.Its actually an indescribable smell but i would say it smells fresh and almost like a fancy bathroom?  I brought the 50ml tub at the price of £2.50 (great price!!) which comes with quite a good amount, filled to the top, is a very good amount for if you just want to try the product. I do love this product as its very easy to apply, a little goes a long way and it stays on all day.

Okay. the next product is 'flake away'. It is a body scrub made with shea butter,sugar and peach seed body polish. A 50ml tub of this is also £2.50. It says how to apply the scrub on the top of the lid which is helpful seeing as i rarely read the back of products.It tells you to apply onto damp skin and massage in circular motions until most of the grains are gone. I done this and after it made my skin feel quite tingly and really smooth. There are alot of grains in this body scrub which i like because in some scrubs you dont get enough grains to cover the area.The smell is hard to describe as with all their products but it reminds me a tiny bit of the seaside, seaweed almost but a classy version? I prefer the body butter just because i use it alot more but i would recommend both of them :) You can buy the tubs in 300ml for £10.50 aswell :)

The final product i will be reviewing is 'clean on me'. This is described as a creamy clarifying shower gel.I brought the 500ml bottle for £5.50 but i know you can get a travel size for £2.50 (i like how alot of their products have smaller sizes for £2.50 so you can try them before you splurge too much money on something you dont like). I used up all of this product and it smelt lovely and was very smooth on my skin, lasted quite long and i didn't really have any complaints. However one of my friend tried it and said that she found it too thin for a shower gel but for me that problem didnt occur.I am on my 3rd bottle now so that shows i like it,i am also on my second body butter but still on my first body scrub.

I hope that this post has helped you with your soap and glory products!! there are some which ive heard are good which im going to try such as the hand food, smoothie star and some others but im sure every one of their products are good :)

I would suggest going to Boots now or at least before christmas as they have their 3 for 2 offer on so it would be slightly cheaper to purchase things.

secret sales!! and what i pair with jumpers

This is a bit of a weird post because secret sales are obviously secret and you don't know where they are going to be, but if you see one RUN STRAIGHT TOWARDS IT!!!  seriously they are amazing everything is so cheap and such good quality and sometimes you even find the designer ones and get amazing deals ;D

I went to a secret sample sale (when you can buy things before they go into the shops for cheaper) up in the great city of London a few days ago and oh my golly gosh i nearly died from the sales in there!! they had some designer stuff and some non designer stuff and i was supposed to go shopping that day but i spent all my money in that secret sale!! I was so happy i did though because whilst i was shopping with no more money i saw nothing which was anywhere near as good as the things i purchased in the sale.

Usually in sample sales they usually just have sample sizes which are 6,8 and sometimes 10. However some of them have bigger sizes so it depends which one you go to. Whichever one you see though go into it because they will surprise your socks off with the deals they have and money will literally be flying out your purse to buy!

I love this jumper so much!!
it was £45 and since im a cheap spender that's expensive for me however since the material (wool) and and quality was so good i thought it would be a good investment, and it was!!!
I like the different shades of grey in this and the length, i would however like it to be slightly more baggy.
Ive seen a jumper that looks like this in Topshop so if you like it go and check that out :)

I also like to pair it with a blue denim look shirt underneath as i love that preppy kind of look at the moment but.you could also pair it with a big chunky gold necklace. I have seen some reasonable priced one in H&M.You could tuck a jumper into a skirt, wear it with tights (another one of my favorites) or even just the casual jeans!!

Knitwear is Coming!!

One reason i like the winter approaching is because of the knitwear!!

There are so many different types of knitwear out there however my personal fave are jumpers just because they look amazing!
I personally prefer patterned jumpers in the winter as they look quite festive even if they don't have a big reindeer on the front. I usually wear them with black leggings because it makes it stand out a lot more.
However at the moment i'm liking jumpers tucked into skirts because i think it looks super cute and girly!

My second fave is Hats!!
not just any hats though but bobble hats!!
I think they are just the best hats EVER
they can add real style to an outfit at any time in autumn or winter. My personal way to style them is with a dress and some Dr Martins as it looks so on trend and street stylish.Oh and don't forget the mascara!

Scarves!!
so many different kinds you will always find one to go with your outfit!
whether they are knitted or not they are real cozy and cute. You can wear these with anything at all and it will look good  (if they match that is)
If you can get some matching gloves,that is adorable!!









As its getting closer to winter the knitted items are back so stock up on the style thats warm and stylish at the same time!!

American Flag Print

For about the past 4 months or so the american flag pint has been everywhere and personally i love it!

The print is very easy to pull off because you can style it with alot of different things. this makes it an essetial wardrobe piece.

These shorts i absoloutly adore! i love shorts with a half and half design on because i just think they look so interesting and stylish. You can purchase these from topshop.

I like this top because the print is so basic that you could piece it with a scarf or something. However its so nice that it could acctually be a statement piece. I would probably pair these with some high waisted leather hatpants or if its winter i would use leather fitted trousers instead.Im not sure where you can get this top from but i got one like it from new look.

Whoever made this print popular is a genius because its just so cute and the actual flag is so nice so i can see why the american flag is a popular print.

The British flag is another big print this year however some of the clothing with this flag on just dont look good. I like the tops in the picture especially the red one (since i have it) You can get these tops from primark and i think also new look.

Nail varnish of the day!

Hello :)
Today im wearing the miss sporty clubbing colours nail varnish in yellow.
The reason i got yellow was because i didnt acctually have any yellow nail varnish until i purchased this one from superdrug.I got it when they had theyre 3 for 2 offer on but i think that seperately they were £1.99 (but im not completely sure!)

It is a quick dry nail polish and it says it takes 1min to dry and on my nails i timed a minute and it was dry! This colour went on my nails very smooth and it was quite thin however yo still got alot of colour which was great :)
The yellow is quite bold, i would say it has a hint of gold in it aswell. I applied 2 coats because with one it looked a little streaky and peronally i dont like that look. I like this colour but its hard to style with some outfits. it defenitly more of a summer colour.So far it hasnt chipped easily whih is great! 
I got this colour for my friends birthday (along with some other stuff) and she said she really liked it, weather she was lying or not i dont know.

I would recommend this product for people who dont have alot of time to wait for their nails to dry and if the weather picks up i will defenitly be wearing it more but since its coming up to winter i dont really see that happening.

Leather :P

Leather is one of those things that never really go out of fashion so it is really worth investing in. I love the look of leather because its so cute and sexy!

I love the look of leather with a dress!
I think its very girly and cute but at the same time very biker chic. Leather jackets are a very good piece to have in your wardrobe and sometimes it makes a brilliant statement piece!
i would piece a leather jacket with a long dress rather than a short one just because it adds more character to the outfit.If you have a black leather jacket (like most leather jackets,black) please do not pair it with a black dress because it will look too gothic, a colour i would draw to is lighter,brighter colours so that the jacket stands out more. if you want to go for a plain dress then go for white or a yellow,blue or something other than black.

Leather trousers can look awesome!
However i think that they have to be quite fitted and what i mean by that is not baggy because then it just loks like your wearing a bag on your legs.if you want to style this you should pair it with a unbuttined top with a vest underneath .You can really have fun with the design on the top aswell :)

For example:)
this unbottoned american flag shirt would be great with leather trousers mainly because you have that contrast of fitted and baggy clothing but also because the top is quite bold it just makes a great outfit without really any need for statement pieces because the outfit is just a statement in its self! (in a good way)

The last leather item im going to talk about are leather bracelets. I personally think that they are adorable and that you can rock them with nearly any outfit under the sun.
The one that i dont think they would look tht great with is a wedding dress but i would dobt you would wear these to the biggest day of your life anyway. :)
I think that they can look so pretty with just one on your wrist or you can rock them in stacks. Which ever one you choose you  will look fabulous!



Whatever the weather, wear some leather :)

NEW LOOK SALE

New look have a great sale on at the moment because they are clearing all their summer stock. When i looked on the website they have a range of sizes available including 10! that got me excited because 10's are rarely in the sales i look at i brought 3 pairs of shorts from new look and it only came to £22
and i saved £37.97 which i think is amazing. I was so tempted to get more things from their sale because all of it is so cute and on trend at the moment and basically all of it is in my size!! yay!!
but i couldnt get anymore because i was on a budget :(
Im still really happy with what i got and i would seriously advise you to go take a look at that sale because alot of it is under £10 but is still great quality!
these are the items i purchased:

I love the coral colour on these shorts and i was so excited when i found them for such a good price (£6.00). Also because theyre high waisted they make me look thinner because my waist is the smallest part of me. I style them with a white crochet top or one with a very simple design.

I love these purple shorts with the lighter purple stitching at the bottom . I think these look quite rock chick if you style them right.I think the skull bracelet from my 'the skull trend' post would go so well with these with like a vintage maroon top and a scarf. These were also £6.00

These floral tapestry shorts are my absolute faves because i just love the detail on them. Also i think that you could rock them at a festival or at a party with some black tights with a white sheer top. I know that some people dont really like wearing sheer tops but if you wear a vest top, bandeu or even a bralet it would look awsome. but if that still dosnt turn you to the sheer side of life you could wear a cream flowy top and it will look just as good. I would also wear some Dr Martins with these. These shorts were £10

i hope that you go to the new look sale soon because they have amazing offers on. I know that i am obsessed with shorts because i just think that you can rock them in any season and still be warm with some tights or leggings.

The Skull trend

Lately alot of people have been wearing skull designs on their outfits. I dont really understand why this is such a big trend now however i do think that alot of the products are really funky. If you style this trend out properly you will look so on trend however if you dont it can look a bit of a mess.

The first thing im going to talk about are the skull print scarves that alot of people have been wearing. I think that these are really cute and are a great statement piece to an outfit. I would personally style them with a plain tee because it will look more controlled, i think i would wear a white tee just because it would make the scarf stand out more.I think i would also wear doc martins with these. These scarves have quite a rocky feel to them dont you think??
The way i wouldnt style this is with a top with too much going on, or any pattern thats bold.I saw a woman walking down the street with this scarf on but then had a top with multicoloured writing all over it and the look just wasnt good.

The second thing is this bracelet. I acctually fell in love with these when i first saw them because they work so well with so many outfits its unbelievable. Also its a great stack bracelet. you could rock this bracelet from a dress to some shorts.
I would try and stick to the more rock theme with them but it could also look stunning with some other bracelets which would control it more within say a floral outfit :)

My Fave Mascara! :)

For about two months now i have been so happy with: the falsies volum' express mascara by maybelline new york.  This mascara does wonders to my lashes because without mascara in general my lashes just look so short and colourless,but with this mascara (compared to alot of the other ones ive tried) it makes my lashes stand out alot more and also it makes them longer. Because of this mascara people have been commenting on my eyes more and i think that it is mainly to do with this mascara.This sounds a bit weired because most masaras do this but i like how black it makes my lashes look because personally i think mascara is one of the best makeup products because it just makes your face look so much brighter and fresher.The two 'falsies' mascaras i have purched are the black drama and flared ones.

I love the design of the container on the black drama one because it has some black lace print going round the top of the container which i think just makes it look alot more girly and sexy.The actual mascara is great because from my personal experience and others who ive spoken to who have used this product it dosnt clump onto your lashes and if it ever does its very easy to fix.








I dont really like the packaging on the flared one because i just think that the silver stands out too much from the purple,However its not really that important what the packaging looks like. Unlike the black drama, the flared one has two sides to the brush.This is so you can get the flared look. first you use the spoon side against the lashes and the you use the flat side to create the flared effect. I think that this works really well because it does flare the lash well. However some people have said to me that it didnt flare theyre lashes as much as they hoped it would.



I think these are great mascaras. You can get them for around £8 and mine have lasted me a long time (from wearing it every day). I would probably suggest the flared one more because i just think it does more than the black drama one eventhough both of them are good :)
